Hi, Thanks a lot Lee. It is hard to keep up with changes in government regulations and I do like to comment. Who knows what government agencies do with the comments--probably some agencies actually bother to think about the comments, whereas other agencies probably give them short shrift. APHIS is a wonderful agency in many ways, but I think they do make mistakes and I've never observed them to reduce rules over the years. I do think they are now trying to undo the havoc they recently wrought--but will they undo problems or simply make more. However, I must commend them on the ease of obtaining a permit for seed import--but at the same time I castigate them for making the process so hard to figure out for the typical gardener. Cordially, Conroe Joe Sunny here, very nice, relative humidity is quite low of us at 16%, cool night forecast--about 45 F.
