Jim:

You are correct, my nerine spend their summers in a cool damp basement
. It get so damp that sometimes the water condenses on the walls (
stone masonry) and drips down to the floor. Many home owners get
dehumidifiers to keep their basements cool and dry. The dampness
encourages all kinds of things like mold and spiders. It apparently has
benefited the nerine to no end!
