Scilla bifolia is very easy to grow in the Pacific Northwest, where it naturalizes and spreads by self-sown seed. Don't let it loose where it may interfere with small plants, such as alpines in the rock garden. In good conditions it can get pretty large (flowering stems to 6 inches). I had the ugly pink one for awhile but thank goodness, it has disappeared. I've never had a white one. (Hint, hint.) Jane McGary Northwestern Oregon, USA
