I grow this, or a very similar species. I water it when it is green, and lay off when it is not. I keep it in six inch pot, with the bulb buried. It flowers at the soil line. My potting mix is one part Supersoil, one part Coir, two parts pumice, two parts Home Depot Plaster Sand. It is partial (morning) sun, unprotected from Winter rains. It flowers during the summer, and appears to be relatively easy to keep. Does anyone out there have any experience with this bulb? I have read about it in The Color Encyclopedia of Cape Bulbs but I am wondering if anyone has any experience cultivating it. Thanks in advance for any advise. Mike Masterson _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.ibiblio.org http://www.pacificbulbsociety.org/list.php
