Lilies & virus

This is rather like saying the patient didn't show signs of HIV infection,
his CD4 cell count just plummeted; his viral load went through the roof, he
got a bunch of opportunistic infections and suffered from Kaposi's sarcoma.

If reduced flower size and count aren't classic signs of viral infection in
plants then I don't know what is.

Perhaps you mean that the lily didn't have a bunch of yellow streaks in the
leaves?
