Jim,
I've bloomed it in the past on a windowsill, but that plant left me long ago....
This particular individual was bought this year (dormant of course) and potted up with a nice variety of other "indoor" bulbs. The flowers sit right on the ground, like little sultan's slippers. They aren't particularly colorful, but are certainly unusual and quite winsome in their own way.
