Hi Jim,

I made a wiki page for Solenomelus some time ago and put pictures of what I 
grew from Nargs seed that I think was called Solenomelus chilensis. That 
Iris book I have that Alberto hates so much says the correct name should be 
S. pedunculatus.

I have no idea how hardy it is. I grow it like Sisyrinchium bellum. Both 
die back for me in the summer and then come back into growth once it starts 
raining. It seems to be persisting in my garden growing in the ground. The 
flowers are a bright yellow.
