My stand of L. rosthornii has withstood the NJ weather just fine.  It
blooms at the same time as L. henryii.  Very difficult to tell the two
apart.  Looks like you have to compare the seed capsule for a definitive
identification.

I have them growing with Allium senenscens and Allium tuberosum for a
nice geographical comparison.
