I think those upright glass-fronted coolers normally filled with pop
and other drinks for sale in small stores and gas stations would make
a good coolhouse for plants. I asked about their availability once,
and was told that they are often available at outlets that sell used
commercial equipment, and that they are not expensive.

This wouldn't be worth doing unless you have lots of bulbs to
convert, though I guess you could use some of the shelves for their
original purpose if you have only a few pots of bulbs. The growing
bulbs could go on the middle shelves to get the most light.
