I presently grow a number of Eucomis pole-evansii in pots. My largest bulb is about seven years old and has yet to flower. I was grown from seed received from the old IBS seed list. I had the trouble of limp foliage previously but this year I watered them every second or third day and the turgor of the leaf has been much better. I also moved them into a position where they were not protected from winds. The theory behind the wind was to strengthen the leaf by exposing it to stress. Arnold New Jersey
