Lycoris aurea var. surgens

Hi. I read the note on L. caldwellii with interest but cannot offer
relevant comment, as I do not have it. I note that L. aurea v. surgens,
however is setting seed. Of the 6 pod structures on the stem-one is about
3-4 x the largest other swollen ones so am assuming that there is viable
seed there. Any suggestions on how to foster greater success between now
and possible germination? This must have been self-fertilized or be
apomictic, as I had no other Lycoris in bloom at the time which I also find
interesting.
