Doug: I remember seeing a video hook up from one of the Botanical gardens in the states and in addition to the video feed there was a infrared feed showing the temperature of the emerging spathe of an Amorphophallus titanum. They were able to predict the flowering time based on the temperature rise of the spathe. Arnold
