two Zephyranthes notes

Zephyranthes atamasco may be spring bloomers but in a good year summer is
also the time that we can get plenty of rain in S. GA and FL 

We've been in drought conditions for a few years- last year I saw very
almost no blooms in the wild but this year we got some great rains in the
spring and the Zephyranthes atamasco were spectacular.  It amazes me how
long they can wait for just the right conditions

Hot and humid South Georgia weather, "scattered thunderstorms" this week
mean torrential rain in one neighborhood but none a few blocks away, the
opposite pattern the following day
