"Notholand" is my comical way of describing that world of hybrids which have been given Latin-form botanical names according to the code for cultivated plants. These Latin-form names are technically known as nothogenera and nothospecies and are so called because they are false or spurious (the meaning of the Greek word from which the term is derived).
