I doubt mine will bloom this year as it just got in the ground from sitting in a pot since May. Mine is the orange / yellow with spots type, I wasn't aware they came in pale purples. How short lived are they for you Jim W.? I've had this particular plant for about 4 years now, started from seed. If your plants set seed, will you be contributing to the BX?
