What does lachenalia need for germination

I know nothing about temperatures in Phoenix but in here in Auckland I 
grow various Lachenalias in the garden, and we get high humidity.  4 
times this week it was 100% humidity.  Our temperatures are in the 20s 
C.  And they grow like weeds.....  Have now gone dormant, being mid summer.

Having said this, most of mine are under the trees in my orchard, so get 
fitlered light during the summer as these are deciduous trees.
