The most extreme position seems to be taken by the Natural Resources Defense Council, which would ban the cultivation of non-indigenous species, period. Most other organizations, however, are much calmer about it. I and probably most other people in PBS and NARGS are strong supporters, for instance, of the Nature Conservancy.
