Dormancy requirement for Hesperocallis undulata?

Gene, Mary Sue, and all,

My bulb of Hesperocallis has never flowered, and in fact it only sends up
leaves about once every 10 years! I may be exaggerating slightly, but only
slightly.

I leave it in its deep pot in the greenhouse summer and winter, dry. I may
water it once in late spring. If it sends up leaves, I water it again.

I'm sure I do NOT know how to grow this thing in cultivation!
