Trying to get started - from scratch!

Hi all,

Mark,

I have never gotten anything from Telos but oh, do they have some really nice juicy items.

I am a glutton for punishment and grow most of my things from seed. I get most of them from http://www.silverhillseeds.co.za/ The ladies there are most helpful. Though seeds can be frustrating at times. It is a good way to get unusual and rarely offered items. I keep very close tabs on their What's new page.

You need to apply and get both your plant import permit and the small lot of seed permit.

I just placed an order with Leigh Nieuwoudt at Simply Indigenous Nursery/Penroc Seed and Plants in South Africa. Having the proper permits is really a nice thing.

Also don't be afraid to chime in on the conversation. There are people here that have vast amounts of experience and it is difficult to tap into that knowledge without asking questions.
