Actually Colchicum 'Pink Star' was named by the holder of the National
Collection in England as the best clone of C. laetum Hort. It has wider
tepals and is showier than the more usual C. laetum Hort which can be gotten
under many other names, including C. parnassicum . I think I have another
different but very similar clone.
