Only some forms of C. hederifolium are fragrant. I have a great many plants
acquired over a long time from many different sources, so I get the delicate
lily of the valley scent drifting on the air, but bedamned if I can ever
pinpoint which of the many plants are scented. The majority are unscented.

Reputedly it's certain geographic races that are fragrant, those from Corfu
being especially famous for their scent.
