How to identify varieties of Scadoxus puniceus

Alan,

"Magnificus" is easy to identify when you have the "regular" variety  
at hand (it is the "most easily acquired").  S. puniceus (standard) is  
smaller, while S. magnificus is noticibly larger in every way - bulb,  
leaves, hight, etc.

I think that there is a picture on the PBS wiki of magnificus also.
