buds are beginning to open, and the stamens were loaded with pollen this afternoon, but it is raining cats and dogs now. hopefully the downward hanging flowers will allow rain drops to roll off without wetting the pollen. http://flickr.com/photos/amarguy/… I saved/froze pollen from my C.herrei last fall and am hoping to attempt a cross.
