Address hijacked

Jane and All,

It seems to be an issue of firewalls and up-to-date anti-virus, anti-spyware and so on. We're having the same problem at the office as we don't have the most sophisticated anti- software that we should. My IP uses Barracuda, which has so far prevented any of these sorts of hijackings on my personal e-mail. Barracuda is expensive and some smaller IPs seem reluctant to invest in that or something similar, never mind the grief it would save everyone...

Food for thought, anyway. Great article on the Scillas. I appreciate your comment about whether name changes will catch on. Isn't there some way around this whole issue? Loren Russell was talking about a way to deal with it, but it was at a dinner for a speaker, and I didn't fully understand how it might work nor was there time to go into the details of it. Something to do with one set of nomenclature (not sure that's the right word) and another set for us botanical non-scientific types, i.e. nurserymen...

Anyway, I read the PBS journal cover to cover and enjoyed the depth and breadth of articles. Keep up the good work!

Sincerely,

Robin Hansen
