Search technique: One of the first things I usually do to find a nursery that grows a particular plant I don't know about is: type the name of it into the browser box, using Dogpile instead of Google which delivers too many irrelevancies. This often yields a few dealers. Doing it a second time will sometimes yield foreign dealers-- or-- clicking the search choice into images (instead of text) will yield an image from a foreign dealer whose name or URL is at the bottom of the picture. I also do not hesitate to use eBay. A few dealers (Florida, Arizona, California ) advertise primarily at that venue ----- Original Message ----- From: "kevin inkawhich" <kevin_ink@mac.com> To: "Pacific Bulb Society" <pbs@lists.ibiblio.org> Sent: Thursday, January 21, 2010 9:45 AM Subject: [pbs] Galanthus > ARE THERE ANY GROWERS OR IMPORTERS OF GALANTHUS IN THE USA? > > A FEW WEEKS AGO, ONE OF THE MEMBERS POSTED THE NAME OF AVON NURSERY IN GB. > > YOU COULD SPEND, AND WILL SPEND, DAYS AND MONTHS FOLLOWING ALL THE LINKS > TO THE EXTRAORDINARY THINGS THEY GROW THERE...
