Dell, Beneficial nematodes should do the job. See this link where Japanese beetles are first on the list: http://www.hydro-gardens.com/what_they_attack.htm They've eliminated cucumber and flea beetles in my garden and probably countless other unseen nuisances. I treated my lawn 20 years ago and haven't seen a one since. I used BT mixed with water and sprayed over the lawn. Arnold
