The Sarracenias that I ordered last month from Meadowview just arrived. I was surprised by their structure. They seem to have rhizomes just like beardless irises... thick almost woody structures with a tangle of roots below. Surely these are geophytes?! Meadowview sent huge divisions of the species I ordered. I definitely got my money's worth. The hybrid I ordered was in short supply so I only got a small portion... but that was to be expected. I potted them up until I can get my bog bed built... possibly this weekend? (wishful thinking) Spring is here and I'm sooooo excited! Dennis in Cincinnati
