What do the bulbs of your plants look like? Are they about an inch wide,
maybe two or three inches long, with a hard, thick, dark gray/brown tunic?
Possibly, then again possibly not.  They are below ground, and growing.  I
have never tried eating them.  No help at all really!

John, I inadvertently sent that message before I had a chance to proof it -
that's why there was no subject line. I was doing several things at once,
among them trying to figure out how to spell oschaninii.
