Fresh, uncleaned (leave the gelatinous coating) Symplocarpus foetidus seed
germinates in early spring sown in a mix of half coarse sand and half
milled sphagnum moss (not peat). Seed is pressed firmly into the surface,
watered once from the bottom ( I use a fungicide in the water) and left
outside exposed to the weather.
