Namophila uropetala

Has anyone here seen or grown this obscure bulb? There are very few
references to it online. PBS Wiki has never heard of it, apparently.

I found a couple of specimens in the Kirstenbosch herbarium a few years
ago. They were collected in Namibia in 2000 by more than reputable
parties (Manning & Goldblatt, Bruyns). It looks very similar to massonia
or daubenya, with two leaves flat on the ground and a tuft of flowers in
the center.

It was published by Müller-Doblies, in 1997 ("marred by an overzealous
fragmentation of the species"--Manning). Manning does cite it in his
'REVISED GENERIC SYNOPSIS OF HYACINTHACEAE...' in 2004, however.

Any ideas?
