Help With Pamianthe!

I well tell you what I know, I do have photos of my plants my facebook page, from what I have seen they are very healthy and regularly have umbels with six to seven flowers (I am Bay Bulbs and anyone is able to view them).

Medium -these plants are epiphytic and I grow mine in an orchid bark medium that I have been very successful with. It is aprox a 10mm grade with little else besides well treated bark that is easy to re-wet and aged so they do not experience any nitrogen draw down.

Temperature - My plants rarely go below 5C in winter with a top of 20C they go into a semi dormancy with very little growth much like worsleya (they look very much like a small worlseya for that matter). During Summer they experience a temperature range of about 20C to the early 30's when they are very much in active growth.

Light -They seem to prefer bright shade however mine do get some direct sunshine during winter and spring and do not seem to be adversley effected in anyway due to this exposure. They are pretty much in full shade during Summer and this is what I would call bright ie being able to cast a pretty descernable shadow over the plants.

Water- I do not water them very often during winter at all and no more than once per week when I have experienced little or no rain during Summer.

Fertiliser - from time to time I do use foliar feed in a very week solution and throw in the pot at times slow release fertiliser I increase this during their growth periods and not at all during dormancy.

Availability - I have several seed pods on several of my plants they are yet to mature even though it has been well over a year. I have not seen them for over two weeks along with my family and am very much looking forward to seeing them, my pamianthe and all my other plants when I get home on Saturday. I will give you an update as soon as they are mature I am also looking forward to a very good harvest of worsleya seed this year.

I have not run a spell check or am ever really concerned about my grammer, I would just like to help so if I have made the odd error (highly likely please forgive me of this).

Kind Regards and Best Wishes Ron Redding Hervey Bay Australia
