My web browser (Firefox) has an option to disable the automatic loading of
pictures. So that makes visiting a JPG intense website like Glasshouse
Works actually really easy and fast. I can just search for whatever I want,
Gesneriads, Orchids, Irids, Passilforas, etc. And not be bogged down with a
slow connection.

So even the slow-connection argument has a work-around. Oh, and I
DEFINITELY turn off Javascript. That annoys the hell out of me on most
sites! icanhascheezburger loads about 10x faster without javascript
enabled. And it makes LOLing at those kyooot kittehs much moar eazyur.
