Subject: [pbs] Pacific BX 252

Hi,

Dell has tried to send this a couple of times and I also tried to redirect it
for him. Since this does not seem to be working, I'm sending it for him. We
apologize if later the older messages get delivered.

Mary Sue
Dear All,
The items listed below have been donated by some of our members, to be
shared. If you are interested in obtaining some of them, please email me
PRIVATELY at <ds429@comcast.net>. Include "BX 252" in the subject line.
Specify the NUMBERS of the items which you would like; do not specify
quantities. It is a good idea to include your snail mail address too, in case I
don't already have it. Availability is based on a first come, first served
system. When you receive your seeds/bulbs you will find, included with them, a
statement of how much money (cash, check, or Paypal) you should send the PBS
treasurer to defray our costs for packing and first-class postage. Some of you
are members of the PBS discussion forum but not members of the Pacific Bulb
Society. THIS BX OFFERING IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO MEMBERS OF THE PBS.

From Corina Rieder:

SEEDS:

1. Allium flavum
2. Ennealophus euryandrus
3. Lilium pardalinum

CORMLETS:

4. Calochortus superbus, seedlings
5. Gladiolus geardii, offsets
6. Ixia viridiflora, seedlings from one source
7. Ixia viridiflora, seedlings from a different source

From Arnold Trachtenberg:

8. Corm/lets of Crocus, mixed. (I think that Arnold wrote that these are C.
vernus varieties, the familiar garden crocus.)

From Mary Sue Ittner:

BULBS/CORMS: (They are all winter growing.)

9. Allium amethystinum - tall, Mediterranean species, late spring to summer
blooming
10. Babiana framesii -- I think, just a few. This is a really nice Babiana.
11. Hyacinthoides italica - this is a very charming small species with blue and
purple starry flowers, late winter blooming for me
12. Narcissus bulbocodium var. tenufolius - descendents of bulbs given by Bill
Dijk to another BX
13. Narcissus romieuxii -- early winter blooming
14. Oxalis caprina - fall blooming, purple flowers
15. Oxalis flava lupinifolia - lupine-like leaves and pink flowers, fall
blooming
16. Oxalis obtusa - forgot to note the color
17. Romulea kombergensis- in Northern California this is a reliable early
blooming Romulea
18. Oxalis purpurea 'Garnet'

Thank you, Corina, Arnold, and Mary Sue !!

Best wishes,
Dell

Dell Sherk, PBS BX
