Crocosmia: interesting factoid

We may have covered this before, but if not, it may interest some people to 
know that if you separate the old back corms from the new corms above them, 
and pot them up, eventually they will produce new plants.  Although they 
look perfectly "blind", they have dormant eyes that will activate themselves 
once the newer corms are removed.  In the unlikely event that you have too 
few of a crocosmia and need to bulk it up, it's a good trick to know.
