Thank you to all the PBS'ers that responded to the original Lycoris information update! Finally the Lycoris are coming up at Chicago Botanic Garden and in my home landscape in Grayslake. Curious this year, both sanguinea and squamigera are coming into flower at the same time. As I mentioned in the original post, we've had record setting rainfall since mid-July in the Chicago region so I am at a loss to explain the delayed flower emergence.
