Well, not quite yet in bloom, but thanks to our crazy non-winter, there are daffodils and hyacinths and crocus emerging in my yard as of today. I can even see a few hyacinth inflorescences, but they are barely showing through the foliage. Right now at 9:30 pm, central standard time, it is 51 F outside. This would have been a great year to try and establish marginally winter hardy plants in my yard. --Jerry Lehmann, Olathe, KS, normally zone 5
