I lost track of the "WEEK" aspect so I guess the topic should be dated
7/26/2011? When does the week start? Can one of the list managers go in
and fiddle our subject lines into some sort of uniformity?

Bloom is actually pretty sparse here in central Indiana just now. The
heat has discouraged me from taking pictures of things, but I may post
links to pictures later. Nonetheless, I was able to come up with the
following lists of actual flowers in bloom.

In bloom today (in pots):

Arisaema fargesii
Arisaema tortuosum
Arisaema yunnanense aridum
Crinum razafindratsiraea
http://srgc.org.uk/smf/index.php/…

Haemanthus carneus
Haemanthus humilis humilis
Haemanthus humilis hirsutus
Nerine krigei

In bloom in the ground:

Crinum bulbispermum
Crinum 'Emma Jones'
Crinum x-powellii
Crinum variabile
http://srgc.org.uk/smf/index.php/…

Crocosmia 'Elizabethan Gardens'
Crocosmia 'Lucifer'
Gladiolus x-gandavensis
Hemerocallis (daylilies -- not bulbs but geophytes)
numerous cultivars and species, list on request
Hosta ventricosa (not bulbs but geophytes)

The Arisaema would probably have bloomed earlier and be bloomed out by now,
but I was quite tardy in getting them out of storage. Now, I'm glad I
delayed. They tolerate such shifts in season quite readily.

The Haemanthus humilis hirsutus in bloom now is about on schedule, but
another pot of it bloomed over a month ago, well ahead of schedule. I
don't think I am to blame for that aneuchronicity.

Nerine krigei is the first Nerine to bloom this season. I have yet to
catch one in a photogenic condition so far this week. N. filifolia usually
blooms about now or a bit sooner, but apparently not this year. Other
nerines will not bloom until later, and the sarniensis hybrids should bloom
in September. The last to bloom for me is undulata, usually in January.

Hymenocallis eucharidifolia bloomed out a few days ago, so it does not
qualify for this week's bloom list. Hymenocallis occidentalis is not due
to bloom for another week or so, but due to the drought it may not bloom at
all this year.
