Regarding Bell and Howell ultrasonic animal repellant. Either the animals including the deer in No.Calif. all wear ear plugs or the instument doesn't work. I bought and used 2 for my fenced in dwarf fruit trees and the peach, cherry, and apricot trees were stripped by a non deer animal. Then we placed them directly in front of three new blooming chrysanthemums at a house whose front yard is a daily deer crossing and source of fig food and in three nights they progressively devoured the blossoms and the leaves. I placed one directly against one remnant plant and they ate the foliage around it. I went back to spraying the deer repellant spray which saved the remants which then give off an interesting animal fragrance. Right now they are propped against my house and whenever I walk by they give off a flashing red light and an Ultrasonic sound that affects neither man nor beast. I would think twice before investing in this "too good to be true" device. I'm afraid like others befo
re it, it isn't true. Bob Werra
