Dear Friends,
Our mild winter continues, but cool nights keep things in great shape.

Narcissus 'Cedric Morris' continues to look great.

More Galanthus pop up and open their flowers.,

Eranthis, both established plants and seedlings are opening
fully in any sign of sun.

The first Crocus showed up today -C. sieberi 'Firefly'

Narcissus 'Rynfeld's Early Sensation' has full size buds and
showing color. Expect open flowers in a couple of days.

Just showing green - Some spring Lycoris (Winter foliage sp.
show almost none of the typical burning of edges), Many daffodils are
up half to a full inch; a crack in the ground revealed a hyacinth
just below the surface.

These might seem welcome in March, but this is the end of
January. Way too early. Gardeners around here are fearing snow in
April or May. Let's hope nothing too cold or too late. We could use
some snow or rain for the moisture though.

	Best Jim W.
