For the sake of all PBS members. I do apologise for my original wording in
my heading being slightly different from the actual question, although to
me its still the same question & the obvious confusion it has caused for
Richard & others,,, Obviously their is some confusion, because i did not
realise their might be a different word for seeds that germinate
automatically, rather than seeds that refuse to stay dormant.

(THE POINT OF MY QUESTION WAS, I WANTED TO KNOW THE NAME FOR SEEDS THAT
REFUSE TO STAY DORMANT)

Many of you have answered me with Recalcitrant & i am comfortable that this
was correct.

Basically seeds that sprout in the mail, because i had a quarantine issue
to deal with immediately & needed an answer, right then for the quarantine
officer, who did not know some Amaryllis sprout in the mail & i wanted to
save them with some technical terms, because he didn't believe me.....

Those of you who are so confused, might benefit by reading the original
question from the 24th January 2012 to find clarity.

I hope i have now cleared this up for you all, to save waisted org
space... I hate being the one that starts such confusion by accident. Im
just here to learn & share : )
I'm so very sorry everyone !!!
