Name for seeds that germinate automatically please

That makes absolutely no sense to me. Recalcitrant has always
meant a reluctance to do something, a refusal of sorts. These
seeds are just the opposite. They refuse to stay dormant. Is it
recalcitrant dormancy that these seeds exhibit?
