Agapanthus africanus albidus

Hello All,

A couple years ago I was told that Agapanthus africanus was triggered to
bloom by smoke. For the last two summers I made sure that it was outside
when we have our smoky periods. Forest fires in north Alberta and the smoke
does drift down and it is quite thick for a week or more. I thought for
sure this would trigger bloom, but still nothing. Is there anything I can
do to trigger it?

Alberto I recall you mentioning as well to take care in re-potting this
plant. The roots have filled the pot completely and there really is not
much soil left. Should I just put it in a bigger pot and fill or try to
take apart and plant some in different pots. It does not appear to go
dormant either, it was sitting in our garage up until a week ago and we hit
-46C, the garage temps dropped to just above 0C and the plants were moved
into the basement.

Any ideas?

Thanks
