Bulbs for shade ?

I'd suggest the spring-growing Lycoris for light shade, especially LL.
chinensis, longituba, and sprengeri.

If you consider Trillium to have "bulbs," they are native to shade
here. Other natives include Erythronium, Dicentra, Claytonia, and Arisaema
(also non-native hardy species).
