Do you mean Eucomis comosa Sparkling Burgundy Jim?
I grew Sparkling Burgundy for some years. It survived freezing for several
winters grown in a large pot, until the recent extreme winter killed it. It
was very handsome but too large for me to accomadate. E Bicolor survived
last winter (2010 /11) with extremes below 0 F, in the ground here and
flowerd well last Summer
