(Theory being fritillaria small, tulipa large). Have a look at: http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/index.php/… (wouldn't it be useful if the wiki had pictures of every seed pod and seed...) You can find pictures of the embryos of frits and tulips if you look around the wiki.
