Aristea africana

There are pics on the net and in the pbs site, it is not a bulb at all, but rather a short iris like plant with thin wiry roots. It is quite common in the western Cape in South Africa, needs sun and well drained soil. The blue flowers appear in late winter/spring and it sets lots of seeds if happy.

I can find no pic of this bulb. I've planted mine in a big container
which has some other bulbs and a Lauris nobilis and it is getting buds.
Does anyone have information on this one?
