Rodger: I kept it going for about five years here in NW New Jersey. Planted in normal garden soil under a Magness pear. Probably had a good dry time in the summer due to the pear tree sucking up all available moisture. Gradually dwindled and the last year put up foliage only. Arnold New Jersey
