Crinum in containers (was C. bulbispermum....)

I had Crinum bulbispermum planted 3 to a 5 gallon container,planted two
years from seed, for at least 5 years.  I finally moved them up to one per
5 gallon container and they bloomed the next year.  This was in Northern
California, central coast zone 9.
