Unfortunately my posting on this was supposed to be parked up in Drafts while I checked the correct spelling but no doubt due to my stupidity it 'escaped' before I could get back to finish the details of the name. The species is Crocus banaticus J.Gay (1831) non Heuff. (1835). Unfortunately in response to wjanetos@yahoo.com I am unable to access our pics from this computer, however if there is one on file Ill gladly post it, if not immediately as soon as I can dig it out.
