...... but here's *Iris vartanii* in the open > garden today, a bit battered by the thunderstorms. Gee Sean, I am impressed. I was always under the impression that this species was too tender to grow outdoors in out climate. I have turned down bulbs a few times. Next time.... Good luck with it. Jim W.
